Character Development

Happy late Easter! This post, I am describing myself and talking about the GT project I am doing. I am a person who likes to laugh, and to make people laugh. Sometimes it's on purpose, and sometimes completely on accident. I am nice, clumsy, and I have a lot of reasons to laugh. A funny imperfection that I have is I love pressing the snooze button on my alarm clock. I set my alarm extra early, just to press the snooze. For some reason, it helps me sleep better. Sometimes, I set my alarm a little late on accident, so when I wake up from the snooze, I have to hurry! I don't know why, but that is one strange yet funny imperfection I have.

In my animation that I will be creating, I will exaggerate my character trait of having fun. I might also add in laziness, since I am a little lazy. I will do this by creating scenes in my animation where I am playing with a ball, doing magic, or just having fun. I might also add me sleeping, for the laziness trait. I also want to add in sports in my teams animation, because I love playing sports. Especially soccer, as this is my favorite sport. This would be very cool, and I am excited to finish this animation project.

Creating a good .GIF takes a lot of steps, and some time and focus. Without these things, creating your .GIF will be very hard and frustrating. The first step in this .GIF is to take the pictures. We took the pictures in front of a green screen, so that it is not to hard to cut out in photoshop. The next step is, you guessed it. Cutting you out of the background with the quick selection tool in Photoshop. After you finish cutting it out and making your cutout image a new layer, we saved it. This is where the .GIF will be happening. When creating a .GIF in photoshop, you must crop. We had to crop the image to a certain size. After this, you go to view, animation, and a bar shows up. This is where you can start animating. You can create some new frames, move your character around, and when you are ready, make a new copy layer of your cutout, go to edit, puppet warp, and start animating! I love animating, because although it is frustrating, it can also be funny, seeing you make your arms act all funky. This is also a fun project, because when you finish a scene, you feel proud of it. We will be doing some cool projects, so stay tuned.
